The Southeast World History Association (SEWHA), a regional affiliate of the World History Association, invites submissions for its Eighteenth Annual Conference, at Appalachian State University, from 20-22 October, 2006. The conference organizers welcome proposals that connect world history research andteaching, as wellas focused paper topics dealing with world history themes or pedagogical issues.
The deadline for submissions is 1 July, 2006. Proposals are welcome from educators and students of world history at all levels. Proposals should be submitted electronically to tishken_joel@colstate.edu, or in hard copy to Dr. Joel E. Tishken, History Department, Columbus State University, 4225
