The duties include third-cycle (postgraduate) education up to doctoral degree, corresponding to a maximum of four years of full-time studies in one of five possible third-cycle education subjects: archaeology, comparative literature, English literature, history, and the study of religions. The third-cycle programmes include obligatory and elective courses of 60 credits (ECTS) and a doctoral thesis corresponding to 180 credits.
