The Department of History at Huron University College, the founding college of Western University in London, Ontario, invites applications for a Probationary (tenure-track) position at the rank of Assistant Professor in World History to commence 1 July 2013, subject to final budgetary approval.

Candidates should have a completed Ph.D., a willingness to participate in developing interdisciplinary program initiatives at Huron, and demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching. The successful candidate will contribute to the Department’s modules by teaching 2.5 full courses per year (first- and second-year courses on world history, as well as a course in his/her area of specialization), maintaining a research program, and participating in the administrative life of the department and university.
