Come and study for a PhD at one of the UK’s leading centres for European Studies. The Centre obtained a top ‘5’ rating (research of international excellence) in the UK’s last Research Assessment Exercise (December 2001).
Applications are invited for bursary candidates to register for a full-time research degree (MPhil/PhD). We have research units working in the following areas:

Support is available for three years and the third year is subject to satisfactory progress. Bursary awards include full fees and a maintenance allowance of £12,000 pa, from September 2005.
